All our employees have relevant competencies and tickets as required by Workplace Health and Safety and Government agencies along with many hours of hands on experience with machinery.
Before commencement of works we are dedicated to gaining as much information as possible about locations of existing services through Dial Before You Dig plans and physically locating existing cables through potholing and ground penetrating radar systems. We organise Fire Ant Inspections and Council and Police permits for work where required. SEQUD undertakes to restore all work sites to previous conditions.
 Auger bores are ideal for jobs under driveways, roadways, trees etc. They work well over short distances (0-18m lengths) but lengths of up to thirty metres have been achieved. Augers are easily adapted to different sites and situations.
Case bores are used to install a steel casing into the ground as it is drilled. It is normally used to install steel casing as an enveloper pipe for water mains, sewer mains, gas and storm water. The void between the steel pipe and the product pipe can be grouted on completion at the customers request. Lengths of up to 75 metres have been installed but the normal length range is usually 18-42 metres. Steel casing lengths inserted can range between three, six and twelve metres. There is minimal over cut around the steel casing so it is greatly suited to use under railways and roads. Grundomats are air operated tools usually used for council and small private jobs for water services or small diameter conduit (electricity, communications etc). Short lengths of up to 14 metres are achievable but this particular tool is not steerable so set up position is critical for accuracy. This type of machine is restricted to ground conditions of displaceable soil only. Conduit can be installed as the tool makes the hole.
